Meet the Mindwave team

Hi! I'm Rachel Klein, a primary school teacher from the UK, currently living and working in the Caribbean. I love writing about yoga, beach walks, expressive arts and anything else that can contribute to our wellbeing in general.

I was inspired to start blogging after my Dad died unexpectedly in February 2017. I wanted a place where I could celebrate his zest for life and share stories of joy and happiness.

Mindwave is currently a team of four. My husband Michael has been hugely supportive. He helped me to build the blog; he writes and edits articles and he creates our Instagram pictures. My childhood friend Gavriel has also joined us as a guest blogger, she is currently on a mindfulness course and felt inspired to write about her journey and how beneficial  mindfulness can be. My brother Frank who is somewhat "unmindful" also contributes articles in his very own unique style!

At we believe that our wellbeing is based on the fullness of our spiritual, physical, creative and emotional selves. Our blog is about encouraging everyone to add a little of this spice to their lives on a daily basis - by watching a sunset, listening to a special piece of music or dancing in the rain! It's the little things that make our hearts sing.
